The Cranemaster unit will be used to pull inn a flexible riser in a STP buoy system.

Rolls Royce Marine DM S&S requires 4 pcs SWL 35T 500 mm stroke Cranemasters. The units are to be permanently installed on KDE 200/15 deck cranes.

Technip Singapore has ordered a SWL 250T 2500 mm stroke Cranemaster for the Liuhua Oilfield Development Project in the South China Sea.
Cranemaster will be used to increase the safety when lowering a 78,4t structure through the splash zone. Overall measurements 10 x 8,2 x 3,95 m. The units will also be used as overload protection when opening hatches subsea.
The field is located approximately 215 km from Hong Kong.

Repsol requires a SWL 100T 1000 mm stroke Cranemaster for their NOV OS 435 Crane on the Casablanca Platform.
Ernst-B. Johansen a.s has also delivered an enhanced load chart approved by DNV for this specific crane which has been delivered together with the unit.
2. August 2011 -
Dredging International – Medco BV has ordered a custom made SWL 100T 1000 mm stroke Cranemaster.
The unit is needed to increase the lifting capacity of a TEREX crane to be used on the Satah Al Razboot Project (SARB), Abu Dhabi. The project calls for construction of two artificial islands and is part of a programme to boost offshore production capacity. The project started in Q1 2011 and is planned to end in Q1 2014.
The crawler crane will be placed on a barge

Drilling & Grouting Services has ordered a SWL 150T 3000 mm stroke Cranemaster. The unit will be used as part of an Off The Boom Drilling System.
The Off the Boom Drilling System consists of drill string (drill bit, bottom hole assembly, drill pipes) and power swivel being hung from the boom of the crane on the vessel. The drilling operation commences when the crane lowers the drill string until drill bit touches the seabed. During drilling operation the crane is required to maintain consistent weight on the bit in the range of 2 - 10 tonnes depending on the formation. The intention of using the Cranemaster is to compensate for vessel roll and assist in maintaining this consistent weight on the bit.

Subsea 7 requires a SWL 150T 4500 mm stroke Cranemaster for decommissioning of GRP covers on Tordis.
Cranemaster will be used for GRP cover lift subsea, from PLIM structure to wet storage area. Base case: AHC crane. Contingency: Crane master.
Cranemaster will be used as passive heave compensation for all large area structures.

Allseas requires a SWL 50T 3000 mm stroke Cranemaster for the Noble Tamar Project.
Cranemaster will be used to install structures at about 1700 m water depth with the A-frame on Calamity Jane.

Woodside Australia has ordered a SWL 100T 1000mm stroke Cranemaster unit.
This is a repeat order for upgrading the lifting capacity on a Lieber crane, type BOS 50/900, on Nan Hai VI. Ernst-B. Johansen a.s calculated and delivered a Permanent Load Rating Chart approved by DnV for this crane in May 2010.

Maersk Oil & Gas requires Cranemaster for reducing dynamic peak loads during lowering and handling of MOB boats.
The unit will be used to reduce peak loads and thus increase the safety of personnel during lowering of MOB-boats.

Subsea 7 Stavanger has ordered a SWL150T 4500mm stroke Cranemaster for the installation of wet stored covers. This is the 4th year Cranemaster has been used by Subsea 7 for this type of operation.
Cranemaster will be used as passive heave compensator and overload protector during the installation of subsea covers offshore Norway.

Subsea 7 Canada requires a SWL400T 4300mm stroke Cranemaster for retrieval and tow of an FPSO bottom cover plate.
The unit will be used as an overload protector during the SeaRose OSP – Cover Plate Works Project onboard the Atlantic Osprey.

Jumbo Offshore has ordered 2 pc SWL400T 2500mm stroke Cranemaster for the Lagan Tormore Project.
The units will be used to avoid snatch loads through the splash zone during a assymmetrical dual lift. The project will be executed using one of Jumbo Offshore’s vessels.

The Rotech T4000 will be used for seabed preparation at a water depth of 40m. Cranemaster is needed to catch slack wire and work as passive heave compensation subsea.

Heerema require Cranemasters for lowering and installation of SPHUs offshore Angola.

National Oilwell Varco has order two Cranemaster Impact Dampers for permanent installation in drillpipe mouseholes.
The Cranemaster Impact Damper is to be permanently installed at the bottom of a mousehole. The unit is designed to absorb the energy in case of an unwanted event of a falling joint of drillpipe.

The Cranemaster will mainly be used to avoid slack wire and following snatch loads when retrieving the life boats from the sea surface after being drop tested.

TTS Energy Bergen have ordered Cranemaster units for the upgrade of SWL10T hoists for sea state 7. Cranemaster will be delivered together with dynamic test and improved load chart certified by LRS.
The SWL in sea state 7 is improved from SWL 2T to SWL 5T with Cranemaster.

A SWL 400T 4300mm stroke Cranemaster unit is required by Technip for another installation campaign on the Jubilee project offshore Ghana.
The unit will be used as passive heave compensator on board the Skandi Aker for the installation of 15 subsea structures at about 1100meters water depth.

Technip Norway require 2 pcs 150T stroke 3000 mm Cranemasters for The West Delta Deep Phase 7 Wellservicer project.
At 95m offshore Egypt Cranemaster is involved in several lifts. One of the lift is in dual lift as passive heave compensator to ensure landing within the calculated landing speed limits for installation of piping module. The other lifts are mainly used as overload protection when recovery of different structures out of the seabed.

PGS have ordered a Cranemaster 24T stroke 500 mm to be integrated in their system for deploying work boats.
Cranemaster is permanently installed to absorb dynamic loads during the lowering of work boats.

Murray & Roberts/Marine & Civil Joint Venture require a SWL 150T 3000mm stroke Cranemaster for Caisson Installation works at Barrow Island Western Australia.
Cranemaster is used to provide additional safeguard to compensate for differential dynamic movement between the partially submerged caisson and the barge mounted crane, during installation.

Technip UK require a Cranemaster for the retrieval of a pipeline initiation skid from the seabed.
A SWL 150T 4500mm stroke Cranemaster will be used to ensure a safe retrieval of a pipeline initiation skid from the seabed. The crane on the vessel intended to be utilized for the operation is a lattice boom crane, with A-frame, luffing wires and no active heave compensation. Cranemaster will in this case compensate for the topside movement and act as an overload protector in case the estimated break-out force shows to be somewhat inaccurate.

The Cranemaster will mainly be used to avoid slack wire and following snatch loads when retrieving the life boats from the sea surface after being drop tested.

Acergy UK Ltd. require a Cranemaster for the PhPc Taurt and Ha’Py
A SWL150T 3000mm stroke Cranemaster is required for the lift of 3x manifolds form the deck of DSV Acergy Discovery. The manifolds are to be deployed and landed onto the pre-installed Foundations Support Structure on the seabed at 105 mwd.

Sparrows Engineering & Operations require Cranemaster units for the BP Dalmeny Project.
Cranemasters will be used as shock absorber and overload protector on a number of lifts from a floating crane onto a fixed platform. The lifts consist of lifting loading arms onto pedestals.

Ernst-B. Johansen a.s has been rewarded a contract for the Goliat Wet Towing Project.
Technip Norway require SWL 400T Cranemaster units for the template installation on Goliat. Cranemaster units will be included in a submerged tow base case to absorb dynamic forces during the towing.

The valve and pig trap hatches will be installed using a 150T 4500mm stroke Cranemaster unit as subsea heave compensation and overload protector.

A 150T 4500mm stroke unit is required for installation of piles offshore Angola.

Technip will use Cranemaster to increase workability when installing suction piles on the Block 31 North East Development PSVM Angola project.

Cranemaster is required by Acergy for installation of GRP covers on the Trym project.
Cranemaster will be used as subsea heave compensator when installing GRP covers from wet stored position.

CTC Marine require Cranemaster for launch and recovery of a trenching vehicle from the main deck to the sea bed at 40 meters water depth.
Cranemaster will be included in their single point lifting arrangement to increase the maximum allowable significant wave height.

Ernst-B. Johansen a.s will provide Cranemaster for Ormonde Offshore Wind Farm project in the Irish Sea.
GeoSea will be using a 250T 2500mm stroke Cranemaster to increase the lifting capacity of a Liebherr crawler crane, thus expand the weather window for installation of foundation piles.

SWL 150T 4500mm stroke Cranemaster for installation of GRP covers.
Cranemaster unit returns after being used by Acergy for installation of GRP covers on the Tordis project. Weights of covers ranging from 3T -20T was safely installed at 185 meters water depth.

400T Cranemaster units to be used by Technip USA offshore Ghana.
Ernst-B. Johansen A.S. has been reworded a contract for the use of 400T 4300mm stroke Cranemaster units for the Jubilee field development project - phase I.
For this project Cranemaster has been used to install Riser Bases and Suction Piles at 1100 meters water depth offshore Ghana. Cranemaster was also used to ensure a safe lowering of the Suction Piles through the splash zone.

Technip Norway receives a 150T 3000mm stroke Cranemaster unit for removal of covers from the seabed at 130 mwd with the vessel, ”Wellservicer”

250T Cranemaster units returns from GOM - Technip installation of suction piles at 2400 meters water depth.

400T Cranemaster units has been used by Jumbo Offshore for a wind farm project off the UK coast
Jumbo Offshore included Cranemaster for installation of transition pieces for offshore wind mills. To limit the lifting height above the ship deck, a custom made "lock and release" system was designed and included in the development of two new 400T 2500mm stroke units for this project.
Cranemaster was mainly used to reduce the crane wire tension and to ensure a safe landing of the transition pieces onto the piles offshore. Go to our Project Reference site to view pictures from the project.

For the Cascade-Chinook project two 250T 2500mm Cranemaster units in serial configuration has been used to install suction piles at 2700 meters water depth.
